Model and Entrepreneur NatyMetal
It’s a story I’ve told before, about my first time writing for any publication. Costa Rican alt-models NatyMetal and her sister Yaz once published a magazine called Gorgeous Freaks (which, like the name of this site, is not what you think). They shuttered the magazine to focus on their modeling and Gorgeous Freaks Store, both of which are doing quite well.
One of the reasons I’ve had the sisters a number of times in my publication over the years is because I find their unique style impressive, which makes perfect sense since they both have eclectic tastes in music. Their style perfectly straddles the border between alt-modeling and mainstream fashion (Naty herself is all black metal, death metal, rainbows, and unicorns). So, it should come as no surprise that I chose Naty to “baptize” Neuerotica. She represents both our past and our future.
