I don’t know if I’m the first person to say this, but I’ve always believed that if you can wear it anywhere, it’s not couture.
Fashion is important to me because I love wearing articles of clothing that look good, fit well, and are of a quality you won’t find in basic brands. But, when I attend certain social events, I enjoy being something of a spectacle. I love to hear fellow attendees silently utter “WTF”, “holy shit”, “I wonder if he’s single”, and so forth. That, my friends, is couture and Asta Razma does it well. Art Hearts Fashion is the agency responsible for bringing Asta Razma to the runway this season (FW22) and they did not disappoint. Asta Razma’s COLLECTION ALPHA Spring/Summer 2022 is inspired by the fusion of street style art, pop culture, and global symbolism. This premier catwalk collection for ASTA RAZMA, a Chicago artist will showcase the energy of spray-paint art, chains, and barbed wire fits on pret a porter collection of coats, jackets, corsets, and boots.
Collection Alpha tentacles symbolize water shortage + ocean climate change, while the chains + barbed wire exemplify humanity in the midst of this global pandemic.
