Kiera Nordike
The Teen Who Would Be Queen
The alluring 5’11” Kiera Nordike has been modeling for nearly a decade; a passion she discovered after competing in the Miss Teen Missouri USA Pageant in 2012, where she was first noticed by modeling agents who were in attendance. It took her a couple of years of networking herself before transitioning into runway, print and commercial modeling, as she mainly does today.
Kiera enjoys the networking opportunity that modeling has afforded her and even met her best friend through the industry; but she struggles with the stereotypes that models often get labelled with. “Some people automatically think that I’m stuck up because I model, and that’s not true at all. Believe it or not, models have their insecurities, too.”
Outside of modeling, Kiera works as a Configuration Consultant at Cerner Corporation, an American supplier of health information technology solutions, services, devices, and hardware located in Kansas City, Missouri.
In her free time, Kiera enjoys going out with friends for a night on the town, exploring the city and meeting new people. Her favorite genres of music are Dance, Hip Hop, and Country. To maintain her amazingly fit and elegant body, she always makes time for a regular workout routine at least once a day where she focuses on her cardio by running, abs, butt, and her especially long eye-catching legs…a definite asset for her modeling career. She even tries to fit in the occasional minimal arm workout, too.
“There are so many other places I still would like to go, and can’t wait to see where my modeling career takes me next.”
Kiera absolutely loves fashion and has made many friends in the modeling industry through the various events she visits or participates in. She has been to Miami, Florida for Miami Swim Week, where she walked for Naava Swim. She has also been to Los Angeles, California for photoshoots on what she refers to as “some of the most beautiful beaches.” Her next big trip will be to New York. However, though she’s aware that the modeling scene is bigger in cities like LA and New York, she holds Kansas City close to her heart and acknowledges there’s a much bigger modeling scene there than most people realize.
