NO SESSO - Your All-Inclusive Fashion Community
Everyone deserves to be part of a community. A place where they share a common goal. That goal? A place where everyone belongs inclusively. This also includes those who identify as transgender, genderqueer, agender, nonbinary, and all other lovely people belonging to the LGBTQ community.
NO SESSO, which translates to ‘no sex/no gender’ in Italian, has been trailblazing in our communities and all other fashion avenues after hitting the ground running as a trendsetter in 2015.
NO SESSO was founded by fellow designers Pierre Davis (head designer and first trans woman to present a collection on New York Fashion Week in February 2019), Arin Hayes, and Autumn Randolph. A showing of their SS23 line premiered in the Fall of 2022 with avant-garde and sensual styles in a variety of brown, black, grey, and white colors. Definitely thinking outside of the box, they flashed through with a collection of sexy couture that lined up innovative designs like their signature-styled cut-off t-shirt that shawled teasingly just at the upper torso to form-fit the wearers shoulders and chests, various teeny-weeny bikinis, including a bikini top of faux leather draped unconventionally in an upside-down fashion while still providing plenty of support and cover, a peek-a-boo top made entirely of beads that draped provocatively over the breasts, an over-one-shoulder faux leather top that could double as a sexy mini dress exposing one luscious hip or as a long top over a skirt, pant, or shorts, a form-fitting long-sleeved, turtle-necked, cropped top that zipped all the way up to the neck, a short-sleeved, see-through mini dress that hugged every curve with cut-out sides at the dip of the waist, a loose-fitting, long-sleeved midriff shirt with an extended button section that draped over the abs as a mock accessorizing jewel, another signature-styled faux-leather hybrid shawl/midriff jacket with a large collar and zippers placed strategically, and a sheer pantsuit that hung just right with an exposed hip that clearly stated “come-hither”. Some of these enticing tops were paired with shorts, miniskirts, cargo, and loose-fitting pants of various fabrics and lengths.
NO SESSO paired their models with edgy, but equally sexy, accessories like extra-large hooped earrings, extra-extra-long stiletto nails, strappy six-inch heels, and even a dog-collared choker with spikes that screamed, “Come here! But not too close!”
NO SESSO stayed true to their words. They certainly challenged the “conventions of fashion, art, culture, and design” with their SS23 fashion ensembles. And they are certainly presenting a focus on empowering people of all colors, shapes, and identities with their nonconforming vision and creative styles.
