The Charge Automotive Ford Mustang Electric Replica is the Muscle Car of the Future

Charge Automotive to Debut Ford Mustang Electric Replica

There’s a word that’s found its way into my vocabulary of late, and that word is “badass”. In some of the neighborhoods I’ve lived in the past, that term is usually reserved for unruly children. Here, it refers to the sexy, sleek, and powerful new Ford Mustang replica from British car manufacturer, Charge Automotive. It’s not just beautiful on the outside, but has a gorgeous retro interior as well. But don’t think for a second this car is all beauty and no brain. This is a muscle car for the 21st Century, after all.

In addition to its classic 1967-esque form, their creators have seen fit to build an electric automobile that runs as well as its fuel-driven progenitor. Though a simile of the original, the machine beneath the shell is comprised of the most cutting edge technology currently available. Charge CEO Vadim Shagaleev is a firm believer in “an emission-free future”, and his creation delivers on that conviction.

The price tag for the Mustang replica is $380,000.00, and quantities are limited to 499 (an odd number, but who’s complaining). If you can’t afford one (they’ll be available in September), those less fortunate can see it at the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it will make it’s highly anticipated debut.
